softball, shoe laces, mesh wire, fabric remnants, buttons
A softball found by the side of a street was the students’ inspiration: They used it to make a tote bag that is actually waterproof: The ball was steadied on the inside with chicken wire and clad in T-shirt cloth. Laces were used as the handle and buttons to close the ball-cum-rucksack.
