avocado stones (from culinary establishments), polylactic acid
Biologically based plastic made from avocado stones, in combination with a bio-based thermoplastic – they together provide the material for this 3D-printed push-fit luminaire. A full 35% of the fixture, which weighs only 260 g, is made from avocado stones; depending on the additives, the color and translucency changes.
