DE Das Projekt steht für bewussten Umgang mit wertvollen Ressourcen: Die Zahnbürste ist vollständig aus dem Material von FFP2-Masken hergestellt. Die 3-D-Drucktechnik ermöglicht es, feste Formen sowie flexible, faserartige Strukturen herzustellen. Dabei wird eine Art Kunststoff-Faden in der entsprechenden Form geschichtet und erhärtet. Dieses sogenannte Filament wurde aus dem Polypropylen der Masken gewonnen. Die Zahnbürste spielt mit dem Kontrast zwischen Abfallprodukt und „sauberem“ Hygieneartikel.

EN The project illustrates the conscious use of precious resources. The toothbrush is made entirely from material taken from FFP2 masks. Both solid shapes and flexible, fiber-like structures can be produced using 3D printing. A type of continuous filament made from polypropylene taken from recycled face coverings is layered and hardened in the shape required. The toothbrush plays with the contrast between a waste product and a “clean” article of personal hygiene.
